The Designory Inc. February 2007 – May 2007
Sr. Front-End Web Developer
- Worked on Shopping Cart tool enhancements for a global Nissan redesign on the nissanusa.com website.
- Responsible for redesigning old tools and in some cases developing new tools all within a Java environment.
- Coming from a different background, I had to learn a new development environment which included different JREs.
- I learned and utilized the Tapestry Java Framework and integrated it into many front end tools including JSP, XHTML, DHTML, CSS, AJAX, JavaScript and JavaScript libraries like Dojo. Implementing the environment on my local machine I was in charge of maintenance and doing builds to make sure the environment was accurate and up to date. All the Tapestry framework elements where utilizing CVS for version control.
- The other half of the shopping cart tools did not use the Tapestry framework but utilized its own MVC setup which forced me to learn JSP. I wrote JSP pages and used many of the same front end technologies as the other projects but these pages where all utilizing SVN for version control.

- I built a tool to help marketing track click-throughs from email advertisements. I used XHTML, DHTML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Object-Oriented PHP/MySQL to develop the system.
- I worked as the development lead and project manager on a VIP site manager system designed and developed by myself.
